Description
This painting is part of my research dedicated to the parent-child relationship.
I wanted to remember and remind myself that
A child is not our projection
He doesn’t have to make our dreams come true, but his
It is another from the beginning and comes to live one’s life
It has its own imprint, temperament and desire to be
These thoughts inspired this portrait dedicated to my daughter Sara, who at twenty-one decided to go and live abroad alone
And, although I am sorry to see her go away, I will wait for her here where she will always find my loving embrace, happy because she is living her own life.
