The aim of this painting is to portray the strength and the elegance of an animal that men usually love. The horse is proud to be free, wild, not a prisoner of men and he lives in perfect harmony with nature. Magaly wanted to immerse herself in this feeling of freedom as if she wanted to escape from everyday life, that may be suffocating.
