Description
In this tribute Magaly created a copy of the Two Tahitian Women painted by Gauguin in 1899. The young women are immersed in a heavenly nature, their spontaneous nudity reflects the harmony of a simple way of life. Through the thick contour lines the figures appear strong and they actually dominate the surrounding space. The warm and enchanting colours are impressed on the canvas with dense brush strokes that reveal some psychological hints about the inhabitants of this paradise.
