Description

The cracks across the surface are not mere fractures, but scars — they tell stories of consumption, conflict, and resistance. As in Burri’s Cretti, the wounded material becomes living memory, bearing the marks of time and its ruptures.

On this raw, textured landscape, two hands emerge — real hands, belonging to the protagonists of my series Oltre il doppio. Hands that have lived, that hold, that mend.

Earthy tones speak of roots and resilience, while touches of gold leaf suggest that even the deepest wounds may conceal something precious.

Dalle mani is not only a reflection on what has been, but a quiet promise: the possibility of healing, of reconnecting with the Earth and with the Other. A call to remember and to begin again.
