Description
The Great Mother is a primordial feminine divinity, present in almost every mythological tradition. She represents the planet Earth, the new life, the feminine in between the divine and the regenerating human mystery. In this interpretation of the Great Mother the artist is adding mystery, sensuality, dream, consciousness, pure and disturbing beauty, and the pain for the human betrayal, the courage that is contrasted with the abandonment, the power to resist in an apparently unsteady embrace, that will never be interrupted.
